Process Server
Private Investigator
Southern California

We have been in the business since 1994, proudly serving the community of California. Our unparalleled service, competitive prices, and overall value are why our clients keep returning. We look forward to providing our services to you.

What does a Process Server Do?

A person has a right to be notified when or if legal action is taken against them. They also have a right to know if court actions are taken in their case. To ensure that everyone is properly informed of court actions, the law says that legal documents pertaining to these actions must be delivered in person. The person who delivers the documents is called a process server. While in most states anyone over the age of 18 who is not part of the case can act as a process server, but hiring a professional process server at California Private Investigator makes much more sense, especially in cases where someone does not wish to be served with legal documents and will do anything to avoid it.

Complications of Process Serving

In some cases, people will avoid being served legal documents at all cost, be it a divorce case or other civil matter. They may leave town or refuse to accept the documents. That is why people use our Professional California Private Investigators, who are also Registered Process Servers, do the process serving for you. Our professionals can:

  • Use locate techniques to find the person, if necessary.
  • Use skip tracing to find them if they have left town or left the country. California Process Server has a large network of Private Investigators in other areas of the country and around the world in order to find someone in order to serve them with papers.
  • Make sure that proper laws are followed. In some states, process servers must have the legal documents in question actually touch the body of the person who’s being served. In other states, trespass laws do not allow servers to approach someone on their own property. In short, hiring California Private Investigator as your professional Process Server can help ensure that your documents are delivered in the correct manner. If they are served by others, your court case could be thrown out or tied up in legal problems for extended periods of time.

  • Show solid evidence that the documents were served, such as obtaining video of the serve and grabbing a photo from the video to provide to the court. If the person who is served claims that they did not receive legal documents, our qualified process serving professional will be able to show an affidavit of service or proof of service and a photo (if possible)that can prove that the person has been legally served.

  • Provide the best possible services in Southern California. California Process Server is better than hiring drive-by process servers who leave when no one is home or leave when the person denies they are the person to be served. Our service will provide video of the serve, and if no one is home, we will establish surveillance of the property until the person to be served arrives. California Process Server/Private Investigators have served thousands of people determined to evade service only to find them dumfounded when we serve them. This type of person believes that they will never be served. And if they deny it in court, we provide the photo and video evidence, allowing the Judge to then issue an OSC (order to show cause of contempt of court). This will order them to also pay a fine to the court for contempt and it may also include jail time.

A single call to (800) 580-4749 can get you results fast.
